My name is Russelle Ann Bradbury and I am focused on the mission. I will do what it takes to keep Metro Schools on track, even virtually, to "deliver a great public education to every student, every day."

Please join me to support all of the children, educators, families and community citizens of District 9* and Metro Nashville Public Schools.

*District 9 includes everything west of Nashville - North of West End/Harding Pike to the river and out to Bellevue - the following areas: Charlotte Park, Cherokee Park, Sylvan Park, Richland West End, Bellevue, West Meade and Hillwood.

I am a working parent, too, and the current public health crisis is uncharted territory for all of us. While each day reveals a different challenge, I am proud and overjoyed by the innovative, collaborative and equitable strategies Metro Nashville Schools' leaders, educators and administrators have effectively implemented to meet the basic needs of our children. With each hour that passes, our collective appreciation, respect, and awe for educators grows. The value of schools and educators has never been more clearly illustrated - educators are essential.

I cannot wait to hear your stories and to share mine, to learn how you are spending your "safer at home" days, and to support policy and leadership that further elevates the ability of Metro Nashville Public Schools to provide the best education to all of our city's students.

Stay positive, have faith, be kind, spread love and vote on August 6, 2020.

Stay tuned for more information.
